Ronnie Rains?: We have been asked if we have any idea what happened to Ronnie Rains. Is he still around or do we know  his whereabouts.
Jay says: I used to love Roller Derby. I watched  Roller Jam because it was all there was on at the time. Why did  it change from a show about skating into a show with almost no skating???.
Jim says: I grew in up in the Los Angeles area in the mid-sixties. I was a speed skater at Charlie "Specs" Saunders rink. I quickly learned skating on a bank track was very different. However, I had lots of fun.
Amersor says:  Roller Derby and Roller Games were run completely different. Roller Derby was much more professional looking. The Roller Games was more like pro. wrestling on skates. It attracted, for the most part, a much lower class of people, and had so much fighting and it took away the skating. I'm sure one of the reasons it went out of business was because people like me, just got tired of all the fighting, and not much skating and athletics.
